Top model Cara Delevingne is perhaps one of the most photographed and talked about fashion stars at the moment, so it comes as a massive surprise to hear that top fashion designer Marc Jacobs once banned her from all his catwalk shows.
Although the fashionable pair have since made up, an incident a few seasons ago saw Cara dumped from Jacobs' coveted catwalk and banned from his shows altogether.
In an interview with the Sunday Times Style, Love editor Katie Grand, who worked closely with Marc Jacobs explained, “I suppose it came about because we'd had a run-in with her in the train season at Vuitton a/w12.”

She added of the then 19-year-old Cara, "I was trying to get her in the show, but it was the show in which everyone was very tall, and very long. I remember Marc looking at me and saying, 'Why is that dwarf in here?' and me being devastated."
"I apologised to her afterwards" says Grand, "and made up for it by casting the model in all her key shows and shoots."
The snub didn’t last too long as the 20-year-old style guru was snapped up by the designer in the next season for both the Marc Jacobs and Louis Vuitton shows.
He even chose her to be the face of his 'Protect The Skin You're In' T-shirts to raise money for skin cancer research.
