After brushing off rumours that the couple had been growing apart and living separate lives, Mariah Carey and husband Nick Cannon looked as loved up as ever in a photo she shared on the eve of Thanksgiving via her Instagram account.

The duo posed in front of a stunning Manhattan view inside their huge apartment with their two-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe, holding onto a large bowl of pecans.

The superstar captioned the snap with the words: “Family prepping time! Pecan pie, Thanksgiving” and linked it to her husband’s account.

Their photo may have been an early contender for the cutest Thanksgiving share, however singer Fergie and Josh Duhamel came up with something more creative.

Josh shared a cartoon picture of the Village People, with his family’s faces imposed over the heads, including their dog and baby, with the tagline: “From our village to yours!”

Following speculation over why the couple had not been photographed together in so long, Mariah and Nick also recently tweeted a not-so-subtle message along with a photo of the pair arm-in-arm.

The 33-year-old rapper posted a romantic photo of himself in a tight clinch with his 42-year-old wife on Wednesday night.

Nick captioned the black and white photo “#WCW,” which stands for ‘Woman Crush Wednesday’.
