Miranda Kerr: 'I Didn't Drug My Baby'

Miranda Kerr has revealed that the birth of son Flynn was done completely naturally because she wanted to give him “the best start in life” free of “drugs”.

The Australian supermodel, who is married to British actor Orlando Bloom revealed that she made the decision after watching birthing videos and thought babies exposed to epidural were not as responsive.

“I had been watching all these baby bonding videos and [without an epidural], when the baby comes out it goes straight onto the breast,” she told Harper's BAZAAR.

“The baby was a little bit drugged up and I was like, ‘Well, I don’t want that,’” she recalls. “I wanted to give him the best possible start in life I could.”

“I had made a decision that I wanted to do it [naturally],” she revealed.

Despite getting back to her post baby body pretty quickly the 29 year-old insists she didn't actively try to lose the extra weight.

“I didn’t feel pressure to snap back into shape,” she explained.

”My priority was just having my son and breastfeeding, which was something I really wanted to do, and it came easily. I’m actually still making milk now, but, you know, he’s got teeth…”

The supermodel is one of the most desired women on the planet, but she confesses there is only one person who she wants to spend her time with, baby Flynn.

“[My perfect day is] to wake up to the sound of my son saying, ‘Mama, mama!’” she gushed. “It’s the best sound ever. Then I just love to get him out of bed and he can jump into bed with us, and we have cuddle time!”
