The 'Celebrity Mum Of The Year' shortlist has been narrowed down to a Top 10, leaving Natasha Giggs, Denise Welch and Peaches Geldof out of the race.
Giggs hit headlines when she was nominated for the prize, due to her well-publicised eight-year affair with brother-in-law footballer Ryan Giggs.
Peaches Geldof was also surprised to be nominated, considering she is still pregnant with her first child, whilst Natalie Cassidy, also axed, commented on how long the "short"-list was.
Last year's winner Stacey Solomon was removed from the contest earlier this week after being caught smoking whilst pregnant.
The final 10 contenders include Holly Willoughby, Amanda Holden, David Cameron's wife Samantha, Victoria Beckham, Katie Price, Louise Mensch MP, Kym Marsh, Nicola McLean, Danielle Lloyd and TOWIE star Chloe Sims.
Sims' inclusion has also come under fire after she allowed her six-year-old daughter onto the reality series and said she wouldn't have a problem with introducing her to cosmetic surgery.
Speaking to Digital Spy, an insider for the competition said: "With a week to go, the voting is changing on a daily, sometimes hourly, basis.
"Some of the mums you would expect are right up there, like Amanda Holden, Holly Willoughby and Katie Price, but Chloe Sims's support on Twitter from people like Joey Essex has also given her a real chance too. At the moment it's too close to call."
Other eliminated candidates include Charlotte Church, Abbey Clancy and Jennifer Ellison.
