Niall Horan Promises 'Surprises' At One Direction's Madison Square Garden Gigs

If there was ever any doubt that the One Direction boys had made it big in the US, a concert in one of the world’s most famous music venues would be enough to quiet even the biggest sceptic. The honour is one not lost on band member Niall Horan, who took to Twitter this week (Nov 20) to tell fans about their rehearsals for their upcoming performance in Madison Square Gardens.

Finding it hard to contain himself, the Irish singer tweeted: “So excited for Madison square garden! Been rehearsing!”(sic)

Fresh off the back of their Children in Need and Royal Variety performances, where they were over-joyed to meet the Queen, the boys were straight into rehearsals Niall promised the fans a “couple of surprises too” on Twitter and posted a picture of his ear pieces, his first ever Instagram photo, with the caption “In my ears! Can't wait for MSG”.

To mark the occasion a One Direction pop-up store has opened, just next to the arena they are due to perform in. This giant shop sells only band merchandise, including t-shirts, hoodies and even cardboard cut-outs of the boys. You can buy your very own Harry Styles for just $30.

While excited about the upcoming gigs, next week, the British pop sensations appeared quite distracted from their work as they took on Piers Morgan in a Twitter war. So disruptive was the heated exchange on the social networking site, choreographer Paul Roberts even took to Twitter himself to try to get the boys back to business.

“@piersmorgan Your nonsense is disturbing my rehearsal with @NiallOfficial @Real_Liam_Payne @Louis_Tomlinson @Harry_Styles @zaynmalik”.

We bet Directioners can't wait!
