Nicki Minaj was turned away from her own album release party because the venue was at full capacity.
The rapper arrived at Greenhouse Nightclub in New York City on Tuesday but an eyewitness claims she and her entourage were denied at the door by the New York Police Department.
During the event sponsored by Smirnoff Iced Cake, the 29-year-old was supposed to make an appearance with Flo Rida and Fabolous, but came too late to get in.
The source told RadarOnline: "Nicki turned up to the club with about 25 people at 3:30 in the morning.
"She wanted to celebrate with her fans, but she was denied entry at the door by the police because they said the venue was at capacity and there was nothing they could do to accommodate her."
Apparently the diva wasn’t too pleased not being able to celebrate the release of Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded The Re-Up but made her way home.
The witness added: "Nicki wasn't happy about it, so she and her group just left."
