Irish singer Sinead O'Connor sent out a desperate plea for psychiatric help on Twitter.com on Wednesday after admitting she was "in serious danger" without her medication.
The Nothing Compares 2 U star, who has long battled mental health issues, went online to ask followers to contact her with details of psychiatrists in the Dublin, Ireland area who could urgently help her.
O'Connor admitted the backlash from her on/off romance to Barry Herridge, who she split from after three weeks of marriage only to reunite days later, had sent her into a meltdown.
On her Twitter page, she writes, "I realise i will be in trouble 4 (for) doing this but... ireland is a VERY hard place to find help in. So having tried other ways 1st (first) im (sic) asking.
"Does any1 (anyone) know a psychiatrist in dublin or wicklow who could urgently see me today please? im really un-well... and in danger... every1 being s**t to (Herridge) 4 (for) marrying me has spun me off and im ill and i desperately need to get back on meds today.
