Reports had suggested that Kristen Stewart was to be dropped from the sequel to 'Snow White and The Huntsman 2', then we heard that she hadn't been, although in less than strong terms.
Now at last we have it in unequivocal terms that Kristen Stewart hasn't been dropped from the possible movie as Universal have released a statement declaring that Kristen hasn't been dropped.
In a statement released to TheWrap, Donna Langely, the co-chairman of Universal Pictures said: "We are extremely proud of 'Snow White and the Huntsman' and we're currently exploring all options to continue the franchise, any reports that Kristen Stewart has been dropped are false."
Earlier The Hollywood Reporter had alleged that Stewart had been dropped, citing unnamed sources.
However if Kristen isn't dropped it leaves a number of questions open, will Rupert Sanders direct? Will Liberty Ross let him?
Notice how Universal are "exploring all options", which sounds like it could be corporate speak for: "We're desperately trying to work out a way that we can keep a profitable franchise going, even though we haven't a clue how on Earth the lead actress and director can work together again."
