Oxfam has distanced itself from global ambassador Scarlett Johansson's decision to represent SodaStream, an Israeli company that operates in the occupied West Bank and has claimed they're in an "engaged dialogue" with the actress.
The international aid and development group made a statement referring to the actress on Wednesday in which they detailed the work Scarlett has carried out on behalf of the charity since becoming an ambassador in 2007.
As part of Oxfam's mission to "end poverty and injustice," the Oscar nominated actress has travelled to Sri Lanka, Kenya and India. However the charity highlight they've approached the actress over her association with SodaStream.

They said in a statement: "Oxfam respects the independence of our ambassadors. However Oxfam believes that businesses that operate in settlements further the ongoing poverty and denial of rights of the Palestinian communities that we work to support. Oxfam is opposed to all trade from Israeli settlements, which are illegal under international law.
"We have made our concerns known to Ms. Johansson and we are now engaged in a dialogue on these important issues."
It's set to be an exciting 2014 for the actress who recently opened up to People magazine about her engagement to French boyfriend Romain Dauriac.
She claimed: ''Being engaged is an exciting time to enjoy and to really savour.''

Scarlett recently moved to Paris with her other half and despite having a successful career as an actress, she has admitted that she still enjoys being a domestic goddess, loving cooking Romain tasty meals at home.
She said: ''I cook, but I'm no pro. I was making a white chicken chilli and I had to let it reduce for a little while, so I was like, 'Let's go build a snowman while we wait.' I got a little carried away ... Three hours later, I was like, 'Oh no, the chilli!' I went back inside and the house was covered in smoke. A pro would have not made that mistake. Make sure to check every five minutes if you are reducing something!''
