Paris Hilton has spoken out on her former friend Lindsay Lohan's recent troubles, revealing that she thinks LiLo's problems are down to a lack of family support.
Paris and Lindsay were once Hollywood's most notorious party partners with the duo papped enjoying a string of racous nights out.
Paris appears to have cut all ties with her former buddy over the past year though, swapping wild nights out for cosy nights in with boyfriend River Viiperi. That doesn't mean the Hilton heiress has forgotten about her friend though, with the star wishing Lindsay well as she begins her 90 day rehab stint.
The Mean Girls actress checked in to the famous Betty Ford Clinic in California on Friday to start her court-ordered stay after a crazy 24 hours, during which the actress switched treatment programmes from an approved New York facility to one in Los Angeles, and risked arrest after leaving the centre minutes after signing in.

Paris, who has battled drugs problems in the past, believes LiLo's headline grabbing antics are in some part caused by her parents, Dinah and Michael.
"I think it all comes down to family. I'm very lucky to have such an amazing family and I think some people aren't that fortunate," the socialite told David Letterman this week. "I've known her (Lohan) for a long time. I haven't seen her in a while but I wish her the best... Hopefully this (rehab stint) helps her."
Paris has turned her life around after a string of drug and alcohol-related arrests in recent years, which included a stint behind bars in 2007. She last had a run-in with the law back in 2010 when she was arrested for cocaine possession, which landed her with 200 hours of community service. Here's hoping Lindsay will follow in Paris' lead and turn her life around.
