PHOTOS: Jennifer Lawrence Goes Back To The 70s With Bouffant Hair On Set Of David O. Russell Film

We're used to seeing Jennifer Lawrence looking chic and sleek on the red carpet during her triumphant run at the 2012 awards season, but following her wins JLaw is back to work and sporting a very different look on the set of her new film.

The actress has reunited with her Silver Linings Playbook Oscar winning team of Bradley Cooper and director David O.Russell for a new untitled project. Despite the lack of title, the team were spotted on set in Boston, Massachusetts yesterday hard at work.

Whilst Bradley was seen heading to set in a plaid shirt, blue zip-up jacket and a beanie hat JLaw was rocking a blonde bouffant hairdo that looked very 1970s.

The actress continued the retro theme with a pair of large hooped earrings as she carried her script and a pair of cosy boots, perhaps to wear in between takes on the chilly Boston set.  

The 22-year-old has had to change her hair colour yet again for her new role, going from the brunette locks her character Katniss Everdeen sports for The Hunger Games films to her natural blonde for Russell's film in which she plays Marie Weinberg.

The untitled movie is set in the 1970s and covers a real-life American scandal that exposed national corruption involving five U.S congressmen, codenamed by the FBI as Abscam.

Jennifer heads up an allstar cast, playing the wife of Christian Bale's notorious conman turned FBI operative whilst Bradley Cooper plays a federal agent.

Discussing the film, Russell told The Playlist: "It's a crime drama that's really about some very high end financial con artists who are very colorful, strange characters."

"Bradley's going to be like you never saw him. Christian will be... I don't want to give too much of it away but they're all playing real life characters from the ‘70s and they're very intense in an insane drama", the director teases.
