Prince Harry And Cressida Bonas Will NOT Be Attending Prince George's Christening Together

Prince Harry may have been rumoured to be taking other half Cressida Bonas to Prince George's christening, but these reports have now been denied, with royal sources saying that if the blonde was to attend the ceremony, it would put the spotlight on her and Harry's relationship, which she doesn't necessarily want.

The 45-minute ceremony is set to take place in the Chapel Royal at St. James' Palace in London at 3pm today, with the service being conducted by the Archbishop of Canterbury, in front of just 60 guests and according to reports, Cressida will not be one of them.

A royal source told People: "If she went to this totally private service, it would be tantamount to saying they were about to be engaged."

An insider added to E! News: "It's not just intimate, it's absolutely private."

Clarence House have now released the full list of attendees, confirming the rumours suggesting that Prince Harry will be attending the christening alone.

The royal couple are said to be determined to keep the ceremony personal, but sources have suggested that they will be throwing an "informal tea party" at Kensington Palace before the service.

Ahead of the big day, US Weekly have now released a statement, posted by the palace, saying that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are both grateful for the public's support.

"The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are incredibly grateful for the support and goodwill being expressed at this happy time. Their Royal Highnesses are grateful, too, for the many gifts they have already received," the palace says.

"To harness this extraordinary generosity of spirit, they suggest people might at this time look to support those more in need; perhaps a children's charity local to them," the palace continues.

"Alternatively, you could look to support Imperial College Healthcare Charity, which is the charity of the hospital where the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's baby was born."
