'American Idol' judge Randy Jackson has spoken out on the surprise exit of his fellow judges Jennfier Lopez and Steven Tyler.
Jen and Steven both announced they would not be returning for a third season this week, with JLo's departure being announced in a tearful phone call to show host Ryan Seacrest this afternoon.
Randy told E! News in an exclusive statement:
"Steven and Jennifer are truly two of the most talented and consummate professionals I've worked with,"
"I was friends with them before we hopped on this crazy journey together and I have no doubt our friendships will continue long after. I will love them for life."
Meanwhile it's been rumoured that Randy's future on the show could be uncertain with reports that the producers are looking for a total shakeup. E! have reported that bosses are talking to Mariah Carey, Miley Cyrus and Adam Lambert for the next series....
