Ever since Kate Middleton has been rocking the fully defined eyebrow look, women all over the country have swapped manicures for a trip to the brow bar as Brits want to emulate their future Queen.
And now, the big secret to Kate Middleton’s trademark Scouse brows has been revealed, as the modest wife of Prince Wills forks out just £15.50 to achieve the bushy look.
The Duchess of Cambridge follows the recent new beauty trend that many bloggers first recommended, swapping eye pencils for eyeshadow.
Kate is a frequent visitor to the Bobbi Brown counter at the Peter Jones store in London’s Sloane Square, and has learnt to use their eyeshadow’s as a natural looking eyebrow filler.
Kate is reportedly said to be paranoid of her sparse, slightly fair and patchy brows, so when staff at Bobbi Brown taught her to apply a deep brown shadow shade named ‘saddle’ with a slanted make-up brush to ‘fill in’ her ‘thinning’ brows, she was delighted with her new look – believing her thicker brows help frame her face and make her eyes pop.
But despite Kate being happy with her new, thicker brows, the public reaction has been a little more mixed, with some saying that the makeover has left her brows too heavy for her face, and others comparing her to the cast on The Only Way Is Essex.
Kate also bought an £18 lipstick called 'sandwich tulle' from the affordable cosmetics range, and a top secret 'three step' anti-wrinkle set, which includes a £28 eye cream, a £17 facial corrector and a pot of concealer for £23.
Her cache came to £116.50.
So whether you like her look her not, the Duchess is certainly a role model to follow in the footsteps of as she shops in such affordable and accessible highstreet stores.
