Following her huge interview with reality TV star Kim Kardashian on Sunday evening (June 17), talk-show host Oprah Winfrey is now set to follow this talking-point up with yet another massive interviewee - Rihanna! There hasn't been a date announced yet, but it's been announced that the specific show will be called 'Oprah's Next Chapter.'
And if Oprah managed to get birth control, Kris Humphries and her mother not being a pimp out live on air during the Kim Kardash interview - imagine what kind of juicy gossip she's going to get out of drama-queen Rihanna.
The last time Ri appeared on the infamous talk show was back in January 2010, where she performed Bob Marley's classic 'Redemption Song' to benefit the victims of the devastating earthquake in Haiti. Oprah has also dedicated an entire episode of her show back in 2009 to the issue of domestic violence, putting out messages for young women who find themselves in abusive relationships.
"If you go back with a man who hits you, it's because you don't think you're worthy of being with a man who won't," Winfrey said during the episode.
"I've said before, 'Love doesn't hurt, and if a man hits you once, he will hit you again.' "
Given all the issues and controversy that have been surrounding Bajan beauty Rihanna recently, including reconnecting with ex-boyf Chris Brown on several tracks earlier this year, her extravagant partying, that 'drip' photo and the infamous fight between ex-lovers Chris Brown and Drake in NYC recently.
In addition to her recently announced interview with Winfrey, Rihanna also made headlines on Monday thanks to her brand-new tattoo. Over the weekend, she tweeted out a photo of her new ankle tattoo.
The tat is that of a falcon shaped somewhat like a handgun. "Falcon: a light that shines in the darkness! Never close their eyes during sleep," she tweeted on Saturday (June 16).
Oooo, we can't wait! What would you ask Rihanna??
