Rihanna Returns To Chart Summit As Susan Boyle Breaks Chart Records

Rihanna and Calvin Harris are back on top of the Official UK Singles chart with their song 'We Found Love'.

The track returned to the top of the charts, knocking Professor Green's 'Read All About It' from the summit. This meant that JLS failed to go straight to number one and were forced to settle for a number two spot with their new single 'Take A Chance On Me'.

Elsewhere in the Singles Chart there were new entries for Pixie Lott, Loick Essien, Bruno Mars, Maverick Sabre, Tinchy Stryder and Afrojack.

Susan Boyle broke UK Album chart records with her latest album going straight to number one, making her the first female artist ever to have three consecutive albums debut at No.1 in the UK album chart in less than two years.

Speaking about the achievement, Simon Cowell is quouted as saying: "I'm absolutely delighted for Susan. She's a total superstar and I'm incredibly proud of her."

Other new album entries this week came from Cher Lloyd, The Wanted, Andre Rieu, Birdy, Pink Floyd, Simon & Garfunkel and Diana Ross.
