Kate Middleton couldn’t wipe the smile off her face this weekend as she enjoyed the Diamond Jubilee celebrations alongside the royal family and now reports have emerged that the 30 year-old had something extra to celebrate after becoming pregnant with her first child.
The Duchess of Cambridge joined her husband Prince William at all the major events this weekend and surprised everyone with her fuller figure and hint of a baby bump.
An eye-witness, who spotted her shopping ahead of the weekend told InTouch Weekly they were shocked to see a visible baby bump.
“We thought at first it might be just the way her dress fell as she walked,” a witness revealed. “But if you looked closely, it was a definite bump. It was prominent enough to cast a shadow below.”
During the celebrations, Kate wowed in a series of figure-hugging outfits but tellingly her waist lines were higher than usual allowing her to hide any growing bump.
“She certainly has a glow in her cheeks,” the witness added. “Her face is more rounded — and so is her bottom.”
The royal has reportedly also stopped colouring her stunning brown locks, another sign that she could be with child. In a recent interview her husband and future King Prince William admitted that his top priority was to start a family.
When asked if he had anything to update on that front the rather coyly refused to answer either way.
Any announcement would surely be delayed until after the Jubilee celebrations and as with most first pregnancies when it has entered a later stage.
But with such a slender figure even the hint of a baby bump is going to be noticeable. What a diamond of a jubilee present for the Queen!
