It looks like yet another member of Girls Aloud is to go down the 'solo' route - and this time it's Sarah Harding, as she has revealed that she will be releasing a solo album next year.
However, the blonde singer has said that there are many 'exciting events' that are set to happen first.
Sarah told Broadcast Exchange: "There's quite a lot going on this year, but it's in the pipeline right now, so I can't really say much about that!"
"Next year I am preparing for solo material, so watch this space."
Many of the solo tracks reportedly refer to the star's stint in rehab, following the split from ex-boyf Tom Crane. And we can't wait to hear them!
Wonder if Sarah will go down the Nicola Roberts failed road or the Cheryl 'Queen of the charts' road? Only time will tell...
Meanwhile, Girls Aloud returned in the studio this week to work on their long-awaited new material but the question on everybody's lips was- where's Cheryl Cole?
Sarah Harding, Nicola Roberts, Kimberley Walsh and Nadine Coyle were seen heading into Sarm Studios in west London but were without Cheryl Cole, who is currently busy promoting her new solo album.
The girls’ long-awaited new material is expected to surface late this year or early next – with a charity single for Children In Need set to be among the plans.
