Selena Gomez has announced plans to release a new album next year following the success of her most recent record, 'Stars Dance,' despite complaining of the difficulties in juggling her music and movie careers which she has described as “exhausting.”

The 'Come & Get It' songstress debuted at number one on the US Billboard charts with 'Stars Dance' earlier this month and is gearing up for the release of her next single 'Slow Down,' in addition to preparing for her world tour which kicks off on August 14.

While she may have little downtime over the next few months, it hasn't stopped Selena moving forward with mapping out future plans for 2014.

“I was just telling everyone that I’m probably going to release another record next year,” Selena told Saturday Night Online.

“I’m just so pumped and definitely, the older I get, the more I get inspired and the bigger I want to make my music.”

Revealing the toll juggling recording music with shooting films, Selena continued: “I find that it’s just exhausting to do both. I just really found myself not having a life. I felt like I wanted to separate it a little more once Wizards [Of Waverly Palace] was over, and I just kind of separated them as best as I could. It is hard, because I take such a long break without one or the other and I end up missing it a lot.”
