Sorry Lupita! Jared Leto Jokes He's Dating 84-year-old Nebraska Actress June Squibb

Jared Leto has been linked to a number of high-profile beauties in recent weeks but it looks as though Lupita Nyong'o and Miley Cyrus may have competition after the Oscar winner came clean about his dating life, and joked that's he's enjoying a romance with Nebraska actress June Squibb, aged 84.

The 42-year-old, who won Best Supporting Actor at the 2014 Oscars last night for his role in Dallas Buyers Club, remained coy about his love life after wading in on an interview between E!'s Ryan Seacrest and June, who missed out on the Best Supporting Actress gong to 12 Years a Slave star Lupita.

“We are indeed dating and it's great,” Jared told Ryan on the red carpet before the awards ceremony.

“I've been having fun. I hope she is, too,” he added while keeping a firm arm around June's shoulder. Getting in on the joke, June quipped: “Our evening in Santa Barbara was great.”

Over the last few weeks, rumours began mounting that his alleged romance with Lupita was hotting up with eyewitnesses claiming to have spotted them getting “cosy” at various industry events.

However, Lupita attempted to brush off the rumours last week during an interview with Ellen DeGeneres, cheekily joking: “Ah, but I thought Miley Cyrus broke us up. That was the last thing I heard,” clearly in keeping with the latest Hollywood gossip.

“It's crazy, cause when I read these rumours, they're so detailed that even I start to question whether they're true or not. I know I've believed them in the past and now I guess I can't believe anything,” she added.

It was recently claimed that 30 Seconds To Mars rocker Jared had moved on from his romance with Lupita to date 'Wrecking Ball' star Miley with a source claiming they had enjoyed a “sleepover.”

Although, those reports were quickly dashed with a source close to Miley telling Gossip Cop  that claims Miley and Jared were "hooking up" were not true.
