Brendan Cole has said that Strictly Come Dancing will not miss Alesha Dixon when the show returns later this year.
Dixon controversially left the judging panel of the BBC One show to join up with Simon Cowell on ITV1's Britain's Got Talent earlier this year. Ballet superstar Darcey Bussell has replaced Dixon on the show's next series, and Cole doesn't feel that she'll be missed on the show at all.
Cole explained to The Sun: "I saw Alesha on BGT. She did really well. However, I don't think she will be a big miss, really," he added: "I am very excited about Darcey Bussell. She is probably the most famous dancer in the country and is going to be on the panel judging us, which is fantastic."
Brendan has been dubbed the 'bad boy of the ballroom', but is at a loss himself as to why he attracts the ire of the public, saying: "I don't know why I have that nickname. I'm such a nice person on the telly with my partner."
Last series however, he fell out badly with partner Lulu, but doesn't think that counts, saying: "I've had a great couple of years. I don't think I've had an argument in the last four years - I don't talk about Lulu - I mean in the years before that."
