Taylor Swift will see in the new year by performing live on ABC'S 'New Year's Rockin' Eve'.
The country-pop singer will be the headline act for the show, which will be broadcast from New York's Time Square and presented by Ryan Seacrest.
The annual TV show, which is a music special, has been airing since 1975 and has seen a host of musical names celebrating the coming of a new year.
This will be the first year that American Idol's Seacrest will be presenting the spectacular, as it has previously always been hosted by TV and music producer Dick Clark- however, he sadly passed away aged 82 this April.
The performance on the show will mark the end of an incredible year for singing sensation Taylor Swift who has gone from strength to strength.
Her album 'Red' did remarkably well this year and is still gracing the music charts across the world, with it being announced this week that the album is the second highest album of the year- knocking One Direction off of this coveted spot. Adele's '21' is still in the lead and currently remains unrivalled.
