Taylor Swift might be a US girl but it seems the I Knew You Were Trouble babe has become quite a fan of the UK, so much so she's decided to buy a house in London for when she's in the capital.

The megastar, who has racked up number ones on both sides of the Atlantic is on the hunt for her next property according to insiders as is jetting to the UK today to start looking at prospective homes, a source has confirmed to EntertainmentWise.

Blonde babe Swift is certainly a busy lady as she's making the trip across the pond just 24 hours after performing at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show in New York.

Perhaps showing just how much of a fan she is of the British, the star doned a Union Jack dress for her performance at the lingerie show, which she teamed with a matching hat and boots - how very patriotic.

According to insiders Swift decided to buy a house after getting sick of spending so much time at hotels while she's in Europe.

“Taylor isn’t moving to London permanently but she wants a European base and she absolutely loves Britain.

“She’s been spending more and more time here recently and is tired of camping out in hotels. This way she can make a place her own and get some proper privacy,” a source told The Sun.

We can't wait for Taylor to become an honourary Brit, welcome to the neighbourhood!
