Tears, love confessions, negative pregnancy tests and a trip to the GUM clinic for the TOWIE lot in episode six of series six of The Only Way is Essex.
No baby for Jam-Gem.
The big non-surprise of tonight's TOWIE was the revelation that Gemma is not pregnant. We wondered when it would be cleared up... The pair finally seemed loved up but it obviously didn't last long. Despite Arg continually being confronted by his past, he's not happy for Miss Gemma Collins to talk about it. Fortunately, Gemma was having none of it and got her girl power on at Charlie's birthday party, giving Arg a good talking to. Just what he needed.
Jess and Ricky
Ricky Rayment showed Jess Wright around his new pad and he even treated her to a (very pink) welcome pack, including, erm, some large pants for her 'large' badonkadonk, it was all going so well until then. Jess didn't seem too annoyed though - she took it better than we would have done being presented with giant pink pants.
There was a TOWIE party in episode six so we expected some TOWIE rows. It looked like we were in for a classic Goodger bust-up, but somehow, the gal remained calm. Ricky was told about Jess Wright's flirty messages to Tom Pearce via Cara, which definitely wasn't her place (still following?), so Jess being the feisty lass she is, went straight over to Tom P to confront him. She said: "You're obviously going round trying to break us up by saying I'm messaging you flirty things," in front of Lauren. It seems there were a few flirty texts sent, but Lauren G just sat their looking stoney and pouty at Tom's side. Ricky and Jess seemed to work things out (again) after a chat about trust (again) - we're still not sure she'll be wearing the big pants anytime soon though.
New kid in town.
What is it with the TOWIE boys working their way around the TOWIE ladies? Tonight we met new bad boy on the block, Jamie, who immediately clocked a host of his exes. He looked around the mystery club - the Sugar Hut must have been closed - and said: "Lauren Pope… that was only a kiss and a cuddle… Frankie's over there. That was only a one night thing anyway… Billie always looks well… If I could go there again I would." And Lydia Bright admitted to seeing him for a bit too. Is there anyone in Essex he's left alone? We think we may have a new Mark Wright on our hands and we look forward to seeing what mischief he's going to get up to.
Unrequited birthday love.
After Bobby confessed his love for Charlie last episode, he decided to confess his love to Charlie in episode six - on Charlie's birthday. Through his tears, Bobby said: "I think I've fallen quite hard for you and I do love you." Charlie was ever the gentleman and quietly told Bobby he didn't feel the same but that it wouldn't change anything between them, or come in between their friendship *too cute*. A little part of us did want them to have a cheeky snog though.
Manhood seems to be a recurring theme in series six of TOWIE. We've already seen and heard plenty about Arg's little man to last a lifetime, but tonight we were treated to about five minutes of Diags at the GUM clinic, including his swab face and discussions about his sex life... Despite going to an advert break straight after, we've still got the image in our minds. And that's not an image we'd like to have stuck.
If you can get the image of Diags out of your head, tune in on Sunday for episode seven of series six of The Only Way is Essex at 10pm on ITV2.
