TOWIE’s Joey Essex looked more like Ken than ever at his eighties themed birthday party, complete with a push bike chopper, a ghost buster (Sam Faiers), a giant rubix cube and of course, pineapple and cheese on sticks.
The whole cast are clad in 80’s gear and dance to 80’s music such as Wham! And Spandeau Ballet by the pool. Joey enjoys his day and rides around on his new “chopper” (a kids push-bike from Arg) with a child-like grin on his face. His day ends perfectly with a kiss in the pool with girlfriend Sam Faiers, who says: “Isn’t it weird we’re back here again” as the couple shared their first kiss in the same pool.
But of course It’s not all fun and games and there had to be a confrontation or two somewhere along the line...
Lauren Goodger is now officially going to be seeing Tom K as he previously asked her in the episode if she’d like to see him. She says It’s nothing to do with anyone else and replies: “If I wanna see you and go out with you I will and that is what I’m gonna do.”
Later Lauren approaches Tom K’s ex Lauren P to clear the air. The conversation is calm until Lauren P says: “It’s hard when you said to Chloe to be wary of me and I’ve got no friends”. Of course, Lauren G denies this to which Lauren P replies: “Well Chloe must be making it up then” and calls Chloe over.
Chloe says to Lauren G: “I don’t wanna get involved but you did say that was a long time ago, its not relevant now but me and Lauren have got really friendly since and talk about those kind of things.”
Lauren G gets defensive and denies saying anything and ends up storming off saying: “It’s fine, It’s fine”. Explaining Lauren G's actions, Lauren P says to Chloe that she’s been caught out and therefore has “run off.”
Lauren is shedding a few (possibly false) tears as she gets to Tom K and says: “Can we just leave” before the pair walk off.
