One Direction and The Wanted will reportedly be forced to sit and have a drink together this week in a desperate bid to stop their feud escalating.
A British tabloid today claims that managers for both bands are keen to prevent a physical confrontation if they come face-to-face in New York this week ahead of the Madison Square Garden festivities.

They clashed on Twitter last month when Zayn Malik called Max George a "geek". It escalated until he then named him "chlamydia boy" and they exchanged cutting tweets about each-other's vocal abilities.
A source tells the Daily Star Sunday: "Both of the bandsmanagement teams have been in contact and agreed the boys should all meet up in New York and smooth things out.

"With all the boys in the same city for a few days, it makes sense for them to meet up and have a drink together to prevent the feud escalating.
The add: "Management are keen for the boys to meet before Friday’s gig to stop any confrontation.
"One Direction’s team are particularly keen to iron out any problems over fears the public spat is harming the group’s teen-friendly image."
