Usher's step-son 11 year-old Kyle Glover has been declared brain dead following a boating accident on Friday. (July 6)
The youngster had been floating on inner tubes on Georgia's Lake Lanier in the US when a jet ski struck him and his 15 year-old friend according to TMZ.
Kyle, whose mother Tameka Foster is estranged from former husband superstar Usher was reportedly struck in the head and was knocked unconscious according to Sergeant Mike Burgamy, Department of Natural Resources.
According TMZ Kyle has not experienced any brain activity since he was admitted to the Children's Healthcare at Egelston Hospital in Atlanta where he was air-lifted soon after the accident and there has been no decision yet to take him off life support.
Usher, who is currently involved in a bitter divorce battle with his estranged wife arrived at the hospital on Saturday night. (July 7) Stars have been sending their prayers to the child with Russell Simmons tweeting: "Praying that Usher and Tameka's son is ok..."
With Toni Braxton adding: “My heart and prayers go out to @TamekaRaymond & @usherRaymondIV during this extremely difficult time.”
The former couple have two children together, Usher Raymond V, 4 and Naviyd, 3. Usher reportedly hired a private jet to bring Foster to her injured son.
