The Voice Reject Moved To Tears By Life-Changing Offer On Live TV (WATCH)

BBC

The Voice UK star Bob Blakeley was the subject of outrage on last Saturday's show, when none of the show's four coaches turned their chairs for him - despite giving one of the strongest vocal performances of the season so far.

55-year-old Bob has received widespread support following the broadcast... and today he was moved to tears live on BBC Breakfast when an unexpected offer was made.

Mike Batt, who owns Dramatico records and discovered Katie Melua, offered his services as a mentor, saying he will help the aspiring hitmaker to find a recording contract.

"Usually when the chairs don't turn around you think, fair enough, but he was just so phenomenal," Batt said. "I just felt such a sense of injustice that I thought I ought to do something.

"I would like to be the fifth person that did turn round... I would love to mentor you, to, if you like, manage you for six months or so until you get a deal with a good company, or with my own company. You must not let this chance go by and I would like to help you."

Blakeley was visibly moved as he gripped Susanna Reid's hand and expressed his gratitude.

Happy ending for all!
