The Voice heartthrob Tyler James has revealed that Cheryl Cole gave him the ''best advice’’ when he was a contestant on the BBC1 Talent show.
The 30-year-old told MTV News in a recent interview that it ''felt great’’ to have Chezza’s backing after the Girls Aloud star openly expressed her support for him on her Twitter page.
And that comes as no surprise seeing as Tyler’s mentor will.i.am is a great pal of Cheryl’s.
Speaking of Cole ahead of his performance with former mentor and Black Eyed Peas member will.i.am at Isle of MTV: Malta Special, Tyler said: "She put out a tweet and stuff which I know shows support and helps, but when I actually spoke to her, she gave me some great advice.’’
"She came from a show like that, so she knows the process of it. You know, you can lose yourself in it and she just reminded me ‘try and remember when you were a kid that you really wanted to be in this position, you really wanted to be on this stage, you wanted to be singing’,’’ he told MTV.
"And it’s the best advice because I went out there that night and I was like ‘yeah, let’s do it,’’ he added.
Maybe, like the rest of the female population of Britain, Chezza just fancied you...
