Following the final of The Voice over the weekend, rumours have been rife that the relationship between coach Danny O'Donoghue and runner-up Bo Bruce isn't just platonic. However it appears as though platonic is just what it is after Danny reportedly slammed the rumours as "nonsense".
It is thought that speculation surrounding the nature of Danny and Bo's relationship was fueled further following the reports that The Script frontman was "on a break" from his girlfriend, Irma Mali.
Dismissing the claims and admitting that Danny has been laughing at the reports, a source told The Sun:
"Danny has been laughing about the rumour, saying it is complete nonsense. He says there is absolutely no truth in it whatsoever.”
Backing up the claims that Danny and Bo are not romantically linked, Danny's spokesperson added:
"He is not having an affair with Bo.”
Speaking about her experience on the show after coming in second to Leanne Mitchell on Saturday night, Bo said:
"This experience wouldn’t have been the same if I hadn’t had Danny. From the word go, he had confidence in me. I get on very well with Danny, we have a lot in common.”
