I’m a Celebrity winner Kian Egan is releasing his first solo album after being crowned king of the jungle.

The Irish hunk said that he was “excited” to be recording music again and that it is an "honour" to be working with great writers.

The former Westlife singer has now signed with Warner Music UK and the album is set to be released on St Patrick’s Day.

"I am incredibly excited to be recording an album with Warner Music," said the 33-year-old.

"Music is my first love, and to be able to get in the studio to record these amazing songs by such wonderful writers is such a thrill and an honour for me."

Kian's debut album will be released on March 17, and has been produced by Brian Rawling who has previously worked with One Direction and Kylie Minogue.

The singer is currently a coach on The Voice of Ireland.
