X Factor Boss Apologises For His Part In Tulisa Sex Tape

'X Factor' fans were horrified when it was revealed that former show consultant Chris Herbert may have played a part in distributing a sex tape that judge Tulisa appeared in.

Chris revealed to The Sun on Sunday "My reputation and business has been ruined...I never tried to make a penny." Chris blames Tulisa's ex Justin Edwards for the leak, claiming "I was disgusted by the whole thing and from day one advised Justin not to do anything with the tape. I got a lawyer to tell him he would be sued."

According to insiders Tulisa is not convinced by Chris' words. Her manager told Mail Online "If Chris Herbert were genuinely sorry, he would be saying nothing. One 'sorry' does not make up for all the upset caused to Tulisa. This trauma to Tulisa was compounded by the defendants before admitting their lies, allowing claims this was a Tulisa publicity stunt which was 100 per cent never the case."

Tulisa's manager was determined to make it clear that Chris is no longer connected with the show, saying "Herbert is no longer involved in the X Factor in any way as announced by the X Factor. Simon Cowell had nothing to do with Herbert's [initial] hiring."

Even though Herbert has been fired from his consultant role, he's managing four piece boy band JukeBoxx who impressed judges at Manchester auditions. Tulisa is said to be suing Chris for damages.
