Zayn Malik's 'Boyish' Looks Inspire Makeover For Marvel Comic Book Character Ghost Rider?

Zayn Malik has girls swooning at his perfectly chiselled face but it would seem the ladies aren't the only ones fawning over the One Direction heartthrob as it is claimed that the creator of Marvel comic book Ghost Rider, is using the singer as inspiration for the main character's new makeover.

The 21-year-old, who often shares his comic-style drawings via Twitter, reportedly has the ideal handsome features needed to transform the Ghost Rider character who also goes by the name Robbie Reyes.

According to The Sun, Marvel editor Mark Paniccia allegedly told illustrator and creator Felipe Smith: “The guy from that boyband One Direction’s name is Zayn Malik. If you look him up on Google you can find a bunch of images of him.

“I was picturing Robbie as a beefier version of him. Physically strong, with a quiet, troubled expression, kind of boyish.”

The compliment will no doubt be music to Zayn's ears as he's made no secret of his love of comics and often spends his down time from One Direction, spray-painting and sketching cartoons while he also has a “Zap!” tattooed on his arm.

Speaking of his comic book obsession, Zayn told VEVO Lift: “I’m into comic books. I used to collect them when I was younger – it’s quite a geeky thing I think.”

One person who knows of Zayn's love of comics first-hand is fiancee Perrie Edwards who bought him an Incredible Hulk cake for his 21st birthday in January.

The Little Mix babe gushed over her gorgeous fiance and his romantic proposal, telling The Sun on Sunday newspaper's Fabulous magazine: “It was a no-brainer! I think you know yourself when the time's right and when you're with the right person.

“My parents were engaged when they were really young and I'm old-school. I'm not a typical girl that's partying all the time. I just want to be with someone and let that be it.”
