Newtownabbey zip-line incident involving child and older woman investigated by PSNI
A child has been left with marks on her arm after an alleged incident with a woman at a Co Antrim park.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident involving a ten-year-old girl and an older woman in the Valley Leisure Centre park in Newtownabbey on August 31.
It was alleged the girl was playing on the zip line and the woman grabbed her arm leaving a mark and swore at her to get her off the zip-line so the woman’s grandchildren could play on it.

A spokesperson for the PSNI said: "Newtownabbey Police are currently investigating an incident which occurred at the play park at the Valley Leisure Centre (V36), Newtownabbey on Saturday 31st August 2024 at approximately 1500 hours. This involved a girl and an older female.
"If you have any information regarding this or were witness to this, could you please contact 101, quoting the Police reference #665 1/9/24."
