Next issues urgent withdrawal ahead of Christmas amid 'contamination'

Next has issued a warning to shoppers due to potential microbiological contamination found in three of its Christmas decorations. Laura Ashley Christmas garlands and wreaths sold by Next are being recalled.

This includes a 'Garland With Bow', 'Berries And Pine Cones' and 'Pre Lit Frosted Wreath With Bow'. The product presents a risk of microbiological contamination as it has been identified that some products have become contaminated with mould.

The affected products are:

• Laura Ashley Laura Ashley Pre Lit Frosted Wreath With Bow - E32885 - TS8573416

• Laura Ashley Pre Lit Garland With Bow, Berries And Pine Cones (250 cm) - E32886 - TS8573429

The products do not meet the requirements of the General Product Safety Regulations 2005. The wreaths and garlands have been recalled by end users.
