Corey to escape overseas?
And where is the sadistic soccer star in all of this? Well, now that Corey’s bloodstained clothes have been handed in to the police, he’s hiding out in a rented house with his dad Stefan, who has a plan as to how they can escape.
His scheme involves him calling up Eli’s dad Christian and getting him to come round with a van and some cash. And the aim is for Corey to leave the country and start a new life playing for a foreign club.
Corey is pathetically grateful, but when the vehicle pulls up outside, will he actually succeed in getting away?
Curtis collapses – has he had a heart attack?
An ailing Curtis has an exam this week but is convinced that he might not live long enough to graduate.
In the end, Steve finds him in Victoria Gardens and persuades him not to give up on his career. But there’s big drama when Steve offers him a lift to the exam and his car fails to start. And as Curtis gives it a push, he ends up collapsing clutching his chest.
Following this health scare, Steve tells Emma that he and Tracy would like to use their personal savings to pay for Curtis to see a private consultant.
Overwhelmed by the family’s kindness, Curtis then decides to drop out of medical school so that he can spend every second with Emma.
