NHS Confederation urges public to behave responsibly

The chief executive of the NHS Confederation has urged the public to “be responsible in your own behaviour; be responsible in the way you use the health service.” Matthew Taylor said that NHS staff are “exhausted” after two years on the front line against the Covid-19 pandemic. He added: “Sometimes the health service may not give you the service quality that it would normally want to do, but please understand that’s because of the pressures that we’re under.”.
