The NHS have denied glamour model Carla Bellucci’s claims she faked mental health problems in order to get a free nose job - stating she didn’t have a cosmetic procedure.

The 37-year-old mother-of-three appeared on This Morning today where she claimed she had flirted with a GP and falsified symptoms of depression because she wanted a £7k cosmetic procedure to her nose.

But a spokesperson for the Royal Free London, NHS Foundation Trust has said Belluci had surgery as the result of an injury and had no cosmetic work done on the NHS.

The Royal Free said in a statement: “The claims made by Carla Bellucci relating to Chase Farm Hospital are categorically untrue.

“Following an injury to her nose she had a procedure at Chase Farm Hospital which was conducted for medical reasons and no cosmetic work was carried out.

“All the appropriate diagnostic tests were completed prior to this operation to ensure her eligibility for the procedure.”

Bellucci told This Morning hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield: “I did lie to get a nose job on the NHS, but I do work, I was born here, I feel I’ve not really done anything that wrong.”

The model claimed she had consulted a private surgeon about having rhinoplasty on her nose, which she felt was slightly “off centre” but was told it would cost £7k and the result would be so slight it was not worth it.

Bellucci claims she flirted with her GP and he coached her on what to say to a consultant regarding feelings of depression and breathing problems in order to be granted a nose job by the NHS.

Schofield and Willoughby both challenged Bellucci on her claims that she had “milked” the NHS, pointing out that she may have used up funding that could have gone towards helping a sick child.

Bellucci said: “I’m not saying I have no remorse and I will take the backlash but maybe I am revealing cracks in the system. I do not live with regret.”

Asked if she was worried about the public backlash to her claims she said: “I get battered on social media anyway. I get constant trolling, 24/7, just as a former glamour model with an insta page, I put some nice pictures and people don’t agree with it.”

Bellucci’s Instagram page is currently unavailable.

In response to the NHS statement that she is lying Bellucci said: “It was not an injury. 120 per cent it was not an injury.”

Bellucci is friends with Chloe Ayling, the glamour model who in 2017 was accused of falsifying claims she had been kidnapped and held captive in Italy.

Last year a man was convicted of the crime in an Italian court and sentenced to almost 17 years in jail.
