Nick Grimshaw won't be returning to host BBC Radio 1 yet, after his boyfriend Meshach Henry discovered he had to self-isolate.
He was due to take up the microphone again yesterday (August 24), having gone on annual leave for the last three weeks, but Nick's been forced into quarantine at his East London home.
The former X Factor judge also told fans that neither he nor his boyfriend are displaying any COVID-19 symptoms but did not elaborate any further.
The 36-year-old shared on Instagram: "Sooooooo...this morning Mesh found out that he has to self isolate for the next 14 days and as I live with him, cos I really like him, so do I. Obviously livid.
"So gutted but rules are rules and CBA starting a second spike in the Live Lounge. Both feel totally fine right now and have no symptoms. Fingers crossed we like each other for 14 more days."
Dev Griffin, who took part in last year's edition of Strictly Come Dancing, is acting as Nick's replacement this week, but Radio 1 bosses are said to be keen to get Nick back on the job from home next week.
Keep safe, Nick and Meshach.
