Yahoo News Nick Jonas makes it Instagram-official with Priyanka Chopra
It looks like things are getting serious between Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra. The 35-year-old Quantico star just appeared on the 25-year-old singer’s Instagram account for the first time. Jonas posted a cute video of Chopra on his Instagram Story this weekend, filming the actress walking toward him laughing, and writing “Her,” along with a heart-eyes emoji.
Jonas and Chopra are in India visiting the actress’s mom, People reported on Friday. An unnamed source told the magazine that the relationship is “getting serious.” Jonas’s video may have been taken in Mumbai, where the two of them are rumored to be spending the weekend together.
It sounds like this is the first time Jonas will be meeting Chopra’s mom, but the actress has already met some of Jonas’s family members. Two weeks ago, Chopra went to Jonas’s cousin’s wedding in New Jersey with him. E News reported that Chopra was seen at a brunch with Jonas’s family that weekend. (Chopra also attended the royal wedding in May, but she didn’t bring Jonas with her to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s nuptials.)
Still, even though the two of them have been commenting on each other’s Instagram posts, Jonas’s new Instagram Story marks the first time they’ve actually appeared on each other’s accounts.
Chopra and Jonas were first seen together at the 2017 Met Gala, when they arrived together and sat at the same table because they were both wearing Ralph Lauren. Rumors that the two were dating resurfaced again in May, when Chopra and Jonas were spotted together on multiple occasions.
As for what the two are doing in Mumbai, they were seen at the airport together as well as on a dinner date. Now that Jonas has shared an image of Chopra on his Instagram account, fans are likely wondering when Chopra will share a photo of him on her own Instagram. Could she post a photo of the singer with her mom to mark their reported meeting? Only time will tell, but it would definitely be a noteworthy way to confirm their relationship once and for all.
