Nicki Minaj has spoken out against the likes of Kanye West and Sharon Osbourne, accusing the two stars of racial double standards.
The 33-year-old star was defending black women feeling as though they’re not good enough, criticising Kanye’s hit 2005 song ‘Gold Digger’ and even his marriage to Kim Kardashian.
Speaking to Marie Claire, Nicki explained: “I’m so tired of black women feeling that when our men get rich, they’re going to leave them for a woman of a different race.
“It wasn’t funny when Kanye said [in ‘Gold Digger’], ‘When he get on, he’ll leave your a** for a white girl’ – and Kanye happens to be with a white girl now.
“It wasn’t funny when he said it; it was the f***ing truth.”
She also blasted X Factor judge Sharon for praising Kim’s naked selfie on The Talk, with Shazza previously slamming Nicki’s ‘Anaconda’ promo cover, which saw her wearing just a pink G-string and a sports bra.
Nicki continued: “So it wasn’t trashy and raunchy when a white woman did it but it was when a black woman did it?
“When Kim Kardashian’s naked picture came out (Sharon) praised it and my fans attacked her for being such a hypocrite.
“It’s quite pathetic and sad but that is my reality and I’ve gotten accustomed to just shutting it down.”
Sharon dubbed Nicki’s promo shot as a “cheap porno cover of a DVD” but called Kim’s nude shoot “inspiring”.
