Nicki Minaj criticised over Westminster Bridge scenes in No Frauds video

Rapper Nicki Minaj has been criticised for releasing a video featuring scenes shot at Westminster Bridge just a day before the terror attack.

The No Frauds video is mostly set at the same spot where Khalid Masood drove a car into pedestrians, killing five people and injuring dozens, on 22 March.

It opens with shots of Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament, and features Minaj rapping next to the bridge while wearing a headdress and a beaded outfit.

Drake and Lil Wayne also appear.

"Nicki Minaj by Westminster Bridge in her new vid ... too soon?," asked one person on Twitter.

Others pointed out that the American star was supposed to have cut the scenes.

"I thought Nicki was editing out those shots of Westminster bridge," wrote one fan.

Some, however, didn't appear to see any problem.

"I'm confused, why are people upset Nicki Minaj has Westminster Bridge in her music video? Seriously," one wrote.

After the attack, The Sun reported that the rapper had decided to leave the scenes out for being "inappropriate".

"When everybody involved in the project heard the news they were devastated and thought it would be in bad taste to feature it," a source was reported as saying.

After the attack, Minaj tweeted: "May God protect everyone in London. Hate hearing this sad news. Sending my condolences to the victims' families."
