Nicole Scherzinger chopped her famously long hair into a sleek bob for winter

We first met Nicole Scherzinger two decades ago when she was a member of Eden’s Crush (and “Get Over Yourself” was a mainstay on our mix CDs). Of course, since then, she’s been a member of the Pussycat Dolls, a reality TV judge, and a solo singer. In that time, as long as we’ve known her, she’s been known for her super long hair--so long, it often reached her waist.

So consider us stunned when Scherzinger showed up on a red carpet in London on December 2nd showing off her most dramatic hair change yet: a super short, sleek bob haircut that hits right at her jawline. It officially puts her in good company among the zillion celebrities to go for a bob in 2019.

The Masked Singer judge attended The British Fashion Awards wearing a stunning, glittery black gown by Julien MacDonald. But we can pretty much guarantee all eyes were on her stacked bob, which hit right she wore with a center part.

For reference, here’s Scherzinger just three days prior at the finals for The X Factor: Celebrity, for which she also serves as a judge, with her long waves firmly intact.

And here she is, showing off her brand new bob cut on the red carpet, proving once and for all that the bob trend is here to stay as we roll into 2020.

This is not the first time Scherzinger has experimented with a hair change. She tried on sunny blonde waves for size in 2015 and a sleek long bob back in 2017, but her signature look has definitely been her mile-long mermaid tresses.

With the Pussycat Dolls officially reuniting with new music and an upcoming tour, Scherzinger has plenty on her plate for the new decade already. And what better way to ring in a new decade than with a new ‘do?
