Nicole Scherzinger’s says biggest X Factor competition is Sharon Osbourne

X Factor judge Nicole Scherzinger has revealed that she’s feeling most threatened by Sharon Osbourne’s Overs category.

While the pop star is confident she could have the winner amongst her three boys, she thinks her stiffest competition is definitely Mrs O.

Speaking on This Morning from her judge’s house in Nice, Nicole told presenter Sam Mann: “I definitely think I could possibly have the winner here!” Before adding, “I think I have at least one or two stars.”

On her biggest rival in the competition, Nicole said, “My strongest competition is Mrs O’s category which is ‘the overs’ - they have some really strong, heavy hitters and big voices. People who are really experienced.”

When asked if she has power over Simon Cowell, who is mentoring the girls this year, Nicole flexed her arm muscles and said, “I don’t know if he goes gooey over me - that must be Eric over my shoulder! I know he adores Eric. He’s a miniature Simon!”

She later confessed how she didn’t enjoy the judges houses part of the show, saying: “This is my least favourite part. This is where I forget the gorgeous view and I’m dreading having to send more than half of my boys home.”

Nicole previously won the show when she last mentored the boys – with her contestant James Arthur taking the crown and Jahmene Douglas coming in second place.
