Up to 50 homes near the town of La Laguna were evacuated on October 20 as the lava flow advanced through the neighborhood, according to the local emergency service 1-1-2 Canarias. Three people were killed as a massive gas explosion occurred at a restaurant in northern China. Video filmed in the city of Shenyang in Liaoning Province on October 21 shows a cat enjoying the sunshine in a flat being scared by a loud explosive noise and suddenly jumping up. Another dramatic dashcam captured a plume of smoke rising into the air as a restaurant exploded. Passersby were seen fleeing the scene. Nearby buildings and a bus were damaged. Three people were killed and over 30 were injured. Injured people were sent to hospital and the case is under investigation. The video was provided by local media with permission.
