Late night licence bid made by Nuneaton eatery
Clarification: An earlier version of this article claimed MAT Foods had requested a licence for alcohol. In fact, it was a licence for late refreshments. We are happy to clarify this and the article has been amended accordingly.
A Nuneaton eatery has applied for a late night refreshments licence. It is featured on Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council's licensing list.
It has been made by MAT Foods Limited for Crave on Queens Road. The It asks for permission for a new premises licence - for late night refreshment.
It would cover Sunday to Thursday from 11pm until midnight and from 11pm until 2am on Fridays and Saturdays. The application is now being looked at by licensing officers at the Town Hall.

As part of this, comments can be made on the application. The deadline for this is October 28. The proposal for Crave is not the only one received by the local licensing department.
Bloom & Wild has also asked for permission for the round-the-clock sale of alcohol from its site in Gresham Road . This is for on-line sales only.
This application is also subject to residents being able to pass on comments. For more details on both proposals, visit the council's website or email the licensing team at licensing@nuneatonandbedworth.gov.uk.
