It seems that Gemma Collins really is the talk of this year's series of Dancing on Ice.

The Only Way is Essex star has sparked quite a few headlines over the past few days after she left the live show early on the weekend.

While talk swirled that it was due to reports she was "bored", Digital Spy later learned that it was because she thought she had wrapped production early.

Co-presenter Holly Willoughby later criticised the reality star's behaviour, saying on This Morning: "I really love Gemma, you know I'm a big fan of Gemma's and I think she's great on the show, I do... but I do think there has to be a level of professionalism that comes into any work you do – just a bit of pride in your work."

However, prepare for more reported drama as there have been claims that The GC has threatened to throw in the towel altogether and quit the series, The Sun reporting that she is "devastated" by the things said about her.

There are also some reports claiming that the TOWIE star is throwing the camera crew off the ice and is refusing to be filmed for backstage segments.

ITV has since clarified to Digital Spy that Gemma has NOT quit the show, and have assured us that "Gemma has at no point thrown a camera off the ice".

Digital Spy has also contacted Gemma's reps for comment.

As well as all this chatter, there has been much made of the star's supposed tension with other Dancing on Ice stars, though her conduct has been defended by fellow contestant Brian McFadden, and a source has pointed to her frequent Instagram interactions with cast members.

Dancing on Ice continues this Sunday night (January 20) at 6pm on ITV.
