Don't believe everything you read, as James 'Arg' Argent has definitely not been axed from TOWIE.
Reports have been circulating that the star had been dropped from the ITVBe reality show following some time in rehab, but that isn't the case, and he is just taking some extra time off.
"We are pleased that James is home and that he's made such positive progress," an ITV spokesperson told Digital Spy.
"However, we have mutually agreed that he should take some further time before he returns to TOWIE fully."
Arg has also posted on social media, thanking TOWIE and ITVBe for their support:
The reality star had spent time in Thailand, looking to transform his physical and mental wellbeing.
Elsewhere, it looks like Love Island's Cara de la Hoyde may be joining the TOWIE cast full-time.
De la Hoyde has appeared in a few episodes of late, but after her split with Nathan Massey, rumours suggest that bosses behind the show want to take advantage of her popularity and bring her on as a regular.
On top of that, Kate Wright has confirmed her exit from the show.
Having joined two years ago in 2015, she recently came to the decision to take "an extended break" from the programme.
"Kate has informed producers that she may take an extended break after filming for this series wraps," a statement from TOWIE read.
"We fully support this decision and will keep in close contact with Kate so we can mutually decide if and when a return is appropriate. We wish her well in her future projects."
