Prison Break fans hoping for another escape with Lincoln and Michael might get their wish. Just not anytime soon.

The action-adventure series returned this past spring as a limited series event geared around Sara Tancredi (Sarah Wayne Callies) and Lincoln Burrows (Dominic Purcell) reuniting the Fox River crew to find a secretly-not-dead Michael (Wentworth Miller).

Fox's miniseries event left the door open for more, but - according to Fox entertainment boss David Madden - there's no telling when or if Prison Break will be revived again.

"[There is] nothing that we are currently planning on, but we are always interested in new angles on the stories that come out of our library," Madden told TVLine.

"If the producers have a thought about how to explore another iteration of it, we'd be excited to talk."

In fact, Prison Break co-showrunner Vaun Wilmott revealed that the producers have indeed started dreaming up new ideas for how the Burrows brothers can ride again.

"If the right storyline comes along, I am sure the gang would be back to do it again," he said over the summer, adding: "But ideas are percolating."

Wentworth Miller has also said he feels as if "there's more story" to be told within the world of Prison Break, although he'd have to balance any future seasons with his commitment to the DC TV universe.
