The 56-year-old television presenter divorced advertising executive Brian Monet in 2019 after enduring years of a "sexless marriage". Ulrika was pleased to have the support of her friends, all of whom urged her to "get laid" after discovering she hadn't been getting any action. Pop star Justin Bieber put himself on a "self-imposed tenure of celibacy". Around a year or so before he rekindled his romance with his now-wife Hailey Bieber, 26, the 'Sorry' hitmaker put himself on a sex ban to "rededicate" himself "to God". The 29-year-old singer told Vogue in 2018: "Sometimes people have sex because they don’t feel good enough. "Because they lack self-worth. Women do that, and guys do that. I wanted to rededicate myself to God in that way because I really felt it was better for the condition of my soul."

Before meeting his now-wife Katy Perry, the 'Pirates of the Caribbean' star was on a sex break. He told The Sunday Times: “I was really enjoying the way I was relating to women, and to the feminine within myself. “I know that sounds crazy.”

The 40-year-old actor "starved himself of sex" for six months as part of his research for a movie role.
